1:1 Coaching
Space to think clearly about what matters — and decide how you want to respond.
One-to-one coaching creates space to slow things down, examine what is actually happening and think with greater clarity about the choices in front of you.
I work with people navigating questions around leadership, relationships, work, direction, transition and personal responsibility. Rather than approaching coaching as a process of giving advice or prescribing solutions, I help clients explore what is shaping their thinking, recognise patterns and assumptions, and identify the choices available to them.
I listen closely — not only to what you say, but to the assumptions, contradictions and patterns underneath it. I try to create enough space for you to hear yourself clearly, but not so much comfort that important things remain unexamined. Sometimes the work is spacious and reflective; sometimes it involves challenge, experimentation or a difficult conversation. The purpose is not insight for its own sake, but to help you see more clearly and make choices you are prepared to stand behind.
Clients tend to describe the same qualities in the room: space where the truth can land, questions that lead you to your own answers rather than ready-made ones, and challenge offered without ego.
What people bring
Possible areas of exploration
- leadership and responsibility
- important decisions
- change and transition
- work and direction
- relationships
- difficult conversations
- patterns of behaviour
- self-leadership
We may begin with a decision, a relationship, a professional challenge or a difficult conversation. Sometimes the work stays close to that issue. At other times it reveals a deeper pattern — an assumption, fear, commitment or way of relating that is shaping much more than the problem we started with.
Every coaching relationship is different. These are examples rather than a fixed curriculum.
The organising philosophy
How the work tends to move
Experience fully
Develop a clearer understanding of what is actually happening — including thoughts, emotions, assumptions and patterns that may otherwise operate automatically.
Express intentionally
Explore what needs to be said, asked for, challenged, acknowledged or communicated.
Act effectively
Turn insight into choices, commitments and actions that reflect what matters.
Where insight leads to a commitment, I will take that commitment seriously. Coaching is not only a place to understand yourself differently; it can also be a place to practise living differently.
Client voices
What clients say
“Oliver creates space where the truth can land. Somewhere in our work together we replaced a part — my internal architecture runs differently now. The results speak for themselves: my ceilings genuinely became my new floors.”
BenFounder, Kiln“You helped me see where I was hiding behind potential, confusing intensity with progress, and negotiating with myself instead of committing. You challenge without ego, push without forcing, and don't let people hide behind stories. That made all the difference.”
EdoeFounder, Buildwright Construction“Every bit of reading or homework felt tailored to me and my experiences. Oliver's strength is that he is a great listener — and he doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk. I value that more than anything.”

If you are considering working together, the first step is simply a conversation. We can talk about what is happening, what you would like to change or explore, and whether working together feels appropriate.
